Turmeric rice with chickpeas, pumpkin seeds and goji berries
Ingredients for 4 people

320 g Flora Wholemeal rice
500 g di already cooked chickpeas
1 onion
1 dried chili pepper
1 garlic clove
2 teaspoons of tumeric powder
1 glass of coconut milk
pumpkin seeds to taste
Goji berries to taste
Oil to taste

PREPARATION

A mix of energizing ingredients go with our Wholemeal Rice; the result is a dish that will boost your energy!

Start by preparing the mixture of chickpeas: in a pan put the chopped onion, chili pepper, the crushed garlic clove and a little bit of oil. Fry for a few minutes and add the chickpeas. Once softened, mash some to get a thicker mixture; then, add coconut milk, add turmeric and cook without lid for 15/20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the rice in salted boiling water. Finally, drain the rice and serve hot with curry and chickpeas, garnishing with pumpkin seeds and goji berries.
