Green beans and asparagus tips rice with pesto
Ingredients for 4 people

320 g Flora Whole Meal Rice
70 g butter
½ onion
500 g asparagus
½ glass of white wine
Salt and grated cheese to taste.

FOR THE PESTO :

Fresh basil
Sardinian pecorino cheese
EVO oil
Pine nuts

PREPARATION

This risotto is suitable for those who have greener souls and don’t want to sacrifice taste.

To prepare the Whole Meal rice with green beans and Asparagus Tips with Pesto, brown the sliced onion in 50 g butter, add the steamed asparagus tips and the Flora Whole Meal Rice.

Add 1/2 glass of white wine and bring everything to simmer, adding occasionally water and stirring well.
Put 20 g of butter and the grated cheese, serve it by placing an egg cooked in butter in the center.

To prepare the pesto, combine all the ingredients together in the mortar and mash them till it’s even and creamy. According to the creaminess you want to achieve, add more or less oil.
