Lentils, rich in fiber and mineral salts combine with rice in a super tasty recipe. To begin, soak the lentils for a couple of hours. Afterwards, rinse them carefully until the water is completely clear. Prepare a pot with half a liter of water and bring to the boil, add the lentils, followed by a pinch of turmeric and curry. Meanwhile, finely chop half an onion and some celery. Then heat a round of oil in a saucepan and sauté. When the sauté is browned, add the lentils and vegetable stock. Cover with a lid and let cook for 10 minutes. Then add the with a couple ladlefuls of the water, add salt if necessary, and pour in Flora Whole meal rice, which should cook for about 12 minutes. Add vegetable stock as needed until the rice is fully cooked. When serving, add a drizzle of raw extra virgin olive oil, some black pepper and a few fragrant mint leaves.
